National 973 project “Scientific issues of high performance thermoplastic elastomer preparation and processing applications " medium-term meeting in Hangzhou from 2012 July 23 to 25 was successfully held.

According to “Subjects Statement of Planned Tasks”, six subjects detailed to participating experts and representatives of performance of subject, including the main improvement of the research work, innovative research, the state and level of research team. And they focused on the important initial results or breakthroughs. The experts instructed direction and focus for the development of the project, and proposed constructive comments and suggestions on the problems of the mid-term project.At last, Project Chief Scientist, director of the Faculty of Engineering, Zhejiang University, Professor Li Bo-geng auspiced of experts to evaluate the progress of each topic. Department of basic Science and Technology deputy director general Mo Hongshan, the project advisory group of experts, Professor Ouyang Shixi, Professor Xu Jiarui the and Professor Deng Xianmo; project expert group, professor Dong Jianhua, academician Shen Zhiquan, Academician Zhu Shiping, Professor Xie Zaiku, professor Zhang Liqun , andthe leadership of the Ministry of Education and Science and Technology Department of Zhejiang Province, attended the meeting and subject scoring.
