Prof. Tao Xie attended the American Chemical Society (ACS) fall meeting (Aug 2014) held in San Francisco and gave an invited talk with the title of “Macroscopic Modular Approach towards Multi-Responsive Shape Changing Polymers”. In his talk, he updated the recent progresses in his group on the fundamental and applied aspects of shape changing polymers, with a particular focus on the use of supramolecular interactions to assemble macroscopic 3D shape changing hydrogels.
