Prof. Feihe Huang

Feihe Huang was born in China in 1973. He obtained his degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Virginia PolytechnicInstitute and State University (VT) under the guidance of Prof. Harry W. Gibsonin March 2005. Then he joined in Prof. Peter J. Stang’s group at University of Utah as a postdoctor. He became a Professor of Chemistry at Zhejiang University in December 2005. Now he is Qiushi Chair Professor at the same University. His current main research interests are supramolecular polymers based on host-guest molecular recognition motifs and pillararene supramolecular chemistry. The awards he received up to now include Outstanding Ph.D. Dissertation Award from VT, Thieme Chemistry Journals Award, the Outstanding Recent Graduate Alumnus Award from VT, Humboldt Fellowship for Experienced Researchers from the Humboldt Foundation, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), and Chinese Chemical Society AkzoNobel Chemical Sciences Award. He has published more than 140 supramolecular chemistry papers in PNAS (2), J. Am. Chem. Soc. (17), Angew. Chem., Int. Ed. (5), Adv. Mater. (5), Chem. Soc. Rev. (4), Acc. Chem. Res. (4), Chem. Sci. (4), Prog. Polym. Sci. (1), etc. His publications have been cited more than 5865 times with an h-index of 46. He is guest editors of Chem. Soc. Rev., Acc. Chem. Res., Chem. Rev.andChem. Commun.. He sits on the Advisory Boards of Chem. Soc. Rev. (2012-), Chem. Commun. (2012-), Acta Chim. Sinica(2012-), Macromolecules (2014-),ACS Macro Lett. (2014-),and Polym. Chem. (2014-).
