Shi Shengbin, Ph.D.

Shi Shengbin (1988-) was born in Ankang, Shaanxi Province.

In 2011, he received his bachelor's degree from the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Taiyuan Institute of Technology.

In 2014, he graduated from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Southwest University of Science and Technology with a master's degree.

From 2015 to 2019, I worked in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology, mainly engaged in the synthesis and application research of organic polymer semiconductor materials.

In 2022, he graduated from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Southeast University. He is mainly engaged in the research of organic polymer semiconductor materials and the synthesis and application of ionic liquids.

In April 2022, he joined Quzhou Research Institute of Zhejiang University as a special associate researcher, mainly engaged in the design, synthesis and application of new transition metal catalysts in the catalytic reactions of polyolefin.


Academic Achievements

His research interests include synthesis and application of organic polymer semiconductor and synthesis and application of ionic liquid. It mainly includes: 1. Research on the preparation of organic polymer semiconductor materials and devices, carried out a series of original research in the direction of organic solar cell materials (all-polymer cells, fullerene cells), photovoltaic devices, polar transistor materials (P-type polymer, N-type polymer) and devices, and designed and synthesized a series of P-type and N-type polymer semiconductor materials. Related research achievements have been published in Adv. Mater (2 papers), Chem. Mater, Macromolecules and so on. Academician Li Yongfang and his team have published review papers in Angewandte Chemie (Shi, S. et al. Adv. Mater. 2019, 31, 1905161) synthesized DCNBT-IDT, one of the 12 representative polymers in the field of polymer receptor materials, which enriched the selection of polymer receptor materials. Materials View focuses on my published papers (Shi, S. et al. Adv. Mater. 2016, 28, 9969), which provides a novel design strategy for the design of high performance polymer semiconductor materials by introducing intramolecular non-covalent bonding to lock in the coplanar properties of semiconductor substrates. 2. Synthesis and application of ionic liquids, designed and synthesized a series of biimidazole ionic liquids and polymer ionic liquids, etc., which were applied to the hydrolysis of cellulose and other biomass preparation platform chemicals. As first author in Adv. Mater (2 papers), Chem. Mater., Adv. Electron. Mater., Macromolecules, Polym. Chem. He has published 13 SCI papers in international high-level journals, the total impact factor of the first author's paper is more than 120, the total number of citations is more than 400, and he has obtained one Chinese authorized patent and one PCT patent in the United States.
